Blizzard’s World of Warcraft RealID On Forums Will Cause CATACLYSMIC Revenue Losses

BLIZZARD LISTEN UP!

Your management staff is completely fucking stupid thinking RealID was a GREAT IDEA! Allowing players to talk cross-fraction, cross-realm, even across game was an EXCELLENT idea. Forcing users to reveal their real names? BAD! It goes against the entire game’s creation (role playing, lore, etc..) and can/will cause large amount of revenue losses, not to mention possible lawsuits.

Another reason why it is bad? Friends of Friends feature, which can’t be turned off. Hell, even fucking Facebook allows you to do that if you wish.

July 27th, 2010 – You can save this date in your history books as the downfall of Activision-Blizzard Entertainment. From this day forth, you will see large amount of revenue losses for shareholders and many people turning away from purchasing new games because of their RealID system.

If they don’t see the problems with this, wait until the wrongful death lawsuits that end up on their doorstep when someone on a PvP server decides to have fun, and gank a player.

Think this isn’t real? Go look up “WoW Nerd Rage” on youtube right now. People going psycho over a game is very likely to spill out of the internet should this come to light.

I personally was going to buy a collectors edition of Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 upon release, however with this retarded RealID system getting forced upon forum users, I refuse to provide revenue to a company who is not customer service oriented.

The only way these fuckheads are going to get the message is the number of subscription losses they get from people who are smart, and value their privacy.

Before you retards try to flame on about me being one of the ‘trolls’ and such, I for one am not a troll, nor do I post very often on the forums. However I still find it very disturbing that a company is thinking of doing this.

What are they, owned by Facebook now?

July 27th, 2010 – Disable your subscriptions, delete your characters, find a new game, fuck this company in the revenue ass.

Yes, I’ve already brought this up before. However, with the recent bullshit that is going on, it needs to be brought up again. A prime example of stupidity can be found in the game called World of Warcraft. Specifically their forums and in game trade chat.

“Help, my account got hacked!”

I recall a friend telling me how some idiot bought an authenticator for World of Warcraft and they got tired of entering the 6 digit key every time they wanted to log on the game. Guess what? Not 2 hours later, they got hacked. You are the most retarded idiot of them all!

The prime example as to why crime DOES pay, especially cyber crime. After all, where else can find so many idiots in one place?

Posting On Forum Topics Older Than Two Weeks…

Two Words::: Retarded People

OK, so I really need more than two words to express my hatred towards these people who add their ‘two cents’ to forum posts on websites that are older than two weeks.

You know it, you’ve seen it, and some of you respond to it. Take computer help forums for instance, there was one time I saw this retarded newbie post to a two year old topic. The person who originally started the topic had left the forum however long ago, and this idiot is all like “durr you have to do this and this to your computer”.

These retarded one or two sentence posts which most of the time don’t have any weight on the subject at hand. The guy on the old post could have been asking for help with a computer driver, and this nub is genuinely trying to tell him to format his computer to fix it, not trolling, but actually trying to help him. I know this because usually there is a followup question several days later with “Did you try this? Did it help? Let me know!”

Fucking retard, there is a reason why that topic is 5+ pages back. IT’S OLD, so stop trying to respond to old shit.

Theatrical Release Vs Movie Release… FML

Anyone ever notice the differences between a theatrical release vs the home movie release? I do, and I must say some of them are fucking horrible.

There are two instances in which I remember vividly where this happened.

Speed – When Reeves is stealing the black dude’s car to catch up with the bus and he says “I need to take your phone”. The original theatrical release had the guy saying “Take the phone, take the god damn phone!”. However, the home movie release has him just saying “Take the phone!” There is a horrible cut done to this scene as well and if you notice it, it is a very choppy transition.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back – When they are getting the “rules of the road” explained by George Carlin, they both look at each other and say “Ewww, you eat the cock?!” This is not in the unrated version either, and was only in the theater version.

Why make a movie and then cut scenes from it when you release to home media? I want what I saw in theaters, not a shitty cookie cutter version.

Add Trains For Games (Mafia Wars, Farmville, Fishville, et. all). Value Your Privacy Much?

Alright, so I HAVE to comment on this as I recall saying something to a friend about this awhile back. Add trains for games on Facebook and MySpace. If you’re on one of these, using your real account, and keep personal information on your account, you’re fucking stupid!

Here, let me give you an example…

Your friend (or you, yourself) found the game Mafia Wars, which is a fun game, you get to play a sort of text based RPG. H0wever, in order to unlock items in the game or protect yourself from other players, you HAVE to have a large friend base in order to do so. Keeping this in mind, you start bugging your current friends like hell with those annoying fucking gifts and ‘join my mafia’ posts.

Granted, you get some friends to play, but it isn’t enough, you need A LOT MORE! So, you head on over to your buddy Bing or Google to do a search for “Mafia Wars Adds” or “Mafia Wars Add Train” or “Mafia Wars Email Add Train” and like magic, you’re given several links to both Facebook groups and other sites which say copy this email train, add your email at the end, and post it again. You do it, and then take the email addresses and put them in your ‘invite’ feature of Facebook or MySpace and people start accepting your add, that is when you’ve just accepted a violation of your own privacy…

Some of you might be saying “What is the big deal?” or “How am I doing that?” You, my friend, are prime targets for anyone who wants to steal your information or spam you…

Here is how you’ve opened yourself up:

1) You posted your email address in various trains, so you are bound to get invites by the hundreds on a daily basis, even after you stop playing the game.

2) ANYONE you accept or ANYONE who accepts your friend request, you have just allowed to view your person information (if you are stupid enough to post it) such as address, instant messenger names, websites, and TELEPHONE NUMBERS! Not to mention any private posts that you might make between your *real* friends.

3) You have opened yourself up by posting your email address, so that anyone who is collecting email addresses, can just snatch up that add train list and start going to town with it. They can use it to spam you, spam others by spoofing your email as the return address, or attempt to brute force their way into your email account.

Now, granted, almost all of the above information can have a rebuttal in some way, but face it, most people aren’t going to fully understand how to take action to fix it.

Learn to value your privacy and remember, that should you decide to play these games, know the end-result of your actions.

What Is This World Coming To…

I am seriously about to snap here. I just read an article about a little girl who was raped, choked until she passed out, and then buried alive. Thankfully she came to, dug her way out, and was able to go to the police. However, this is not the only story out there. There are hundreds of them just like it out there. Crime is being committed in record numbers, why you ask? Because the consequences are not strong enough.

You kill someone, you get a deal for X or XX years, you get life in prison, or you get the death penalty. Wow, that all sounds very, very scary. Trust me, it isn’t. Society has become pussified when it comes to punishment. “Oh no, don’t hang people, that is wrong!” “Oh no, don’t use the electric chair, that is cruel!” Fuck them, they did the crime, they deserve the harsh punishment.

What these sick bastards need is a cruel wake up call. Whatever they do, do it back to them, 1,000 times worse. This is the only way these retards are going to get it through their head that they better watch what they’re doing.

Do Political Boycotts Work Against Big Businesses Anymore?

What’s up everyone?

So I was searching the internet this weekend and came across the news report in which said Apple was joining the boycott against the Glenn Beck program on Fox by refusing to advertise on that time slot. However, Apple has gone one step further and stopped advertising on Fox all together.

My question is, does this actually work against big businesses such as Fox? Or are they just spinning their wheels? I can see how it would work against smaller companies which are already strapped for cash, but against big business? Isn’t the reverse effect happening when these companies boycott a big enterprise such as Fox? I mean, look at it from my point of view…

You have all these companies refusing to advertise during Glenn Beck’s program, and it is causing additional news outlets to report on it. Last I checked, his ratings actually went up because of it. So, whoever filled the newly open advertising spot just got a shit load of people they wouldn’t have gotten before if it weren’t for your boycott.

Thus, the companies that chose to boycott the show, missed out on all of that potential revenue. Am I the only one that sees this? Not to mention the additional exposure for Glenn Beck, which could lead to additional revenue should the new viewers choose to buy his products.

Political Parties Are Useless…

Come on, lets face it…

In the United States of America, Political Parties are completely useless now.

The time in which they were useful has completely passed and these parties need to be shut down. They are no longer helping America, but hindering it by passing useless bills, debating retarded things which they shouldn’t care about, and acting like children when they don’t get their way.

Don’t get me started on these half-ass attempts to bring ‘reform’ to America by starting another political party, because that isn’t what this country needs. This country needs people who are actually going to care about their countrymen and women, not forge on their own agenda as every fucking political party does.

Not everyone can agree on things, but everyone can agree that the current government two-party system is fucked up beyond belief. How can a nation as powerful as the United States get turned into such shit? I don’t even have to tell you how. You see it every political campaign for presidency and congressional seat. They all say “We’re going to win at all costs.” This has turned into a competition just to win, it should be so much more than that.

Since when is it that people can’t decide for themselves anymore? They all have to feel like they ‘belong’, and it is bullshit. Humanity is like cattle, following each other to their demise.The downfall of this country? The divide between political parties. You get someone in office who promises so much stuff that people actually believe they are going to get it done. Then, it happens, they don’t do half of the shit they promised and people are so shocked.

For real? You really thought this one person could promise so much and actually deliver? You’re stupid, go die in a fire please. Aside from the fact that they were probably full of shit the entire time, let us ‘assume’ that they were actually going to do what they said to get elected.

They work hard, submitting these bills, working on everything they said they would but then their bills are shot down. Why? Because their political party or the opposing political party took a stance based on their party’s agenda, rather than how they actually feel about the topic at hand.

Oh, and don’t get me started at how they allow all these smaller bills piggy back on these larger ones, turning a simple stop sign at X ave and Y blvd into a 4,000 page bill. In order to pass your bill for the stop sign, you have to pass a bill banning abortion or some stupid shit, thus causing a really good bill to be shot down because some dick face attached a bill on it that is retarded in itself and not even on topic.

You want to save America? Abolish all political parties (and vote how the people you represent want you to rather than what your political party wants), get rid of the electoral college, remove the ability to filibuster, and the ability to piggy back bills.

Only then will you have a decent recovery of the United States of America.
